Pangong Tso, Ladakh
Tso means Lake in Ladakhi. Pangong is a salt water lake in the land of the Himalayas, Aksai Chin Region. Words cannot describe it, you have to see it with your eyes. There are couple of tents near the lake if you want to stay overnight.
Tangtse, Chang La
Chang La is the third highest motorable pass in the world. You can't stay more than 20 minutues at Chang La or else you will suffer altitude sickness. The Indian Army provides free hot tea at the pass.
Leh, Ladakh
You might have some trouble breathing at Leh due to very low oxygen. Visting Leh is like visiting Tibet with its Buddhist culture and architecture.
Kargil to Leh
Night stop at Khaltse between Kargil and Leh. Local kids near our Khaltse guest house.
Drass
Snow Storm at Drass. All our expensive gloves were useless here, your fingers will go blue riding the bike in snow.
